Congratulations to our Student Representative Council members from Years 3-6, who were presented with their badges today at our 3-6 assembly. Well done, Felix, Ella, Ilaria, Rylan, Billie, Cooper, Kaspain, Alexis, Koby, Sienna, Harper, Kalan, Amie, and Fin. You will be wonderful representatives for 2018!
Congratulations to all our Hall of Famers who were inducted today for their above and beyond efforts this term in the Core Value of Responsibility. A special congratulation to our very own Jessamy from 6B!
At our special assembly today we were treated to guest performances by the Yadagi Boys from Callaghan College, who shared their didgeridoo music with us, as well as our Junior Choir, who performed their rendition of ‘Can’t Stop the Feeling’, and the Senior Choir who performed the Australian anthem in Awabakal language. Thank you to Darren from Callaghan College and our Miss Hibbert for leading these students in the enjoyable performances. A beautiful way to incorporate NAIDOC Week and Hall of Fame celebrations at the same event.
A quick reminder that 6B are hosting tomorrow’s 3-6 Assembly in the Upper Hall at 11:40. We look forward to seeing you there!
Today we paid respect to the sacrifices made by Australian men and women during times of war at our annual ANZAC Assembly. Each class made a beautiful poppy wreath to lay on our school memorial. Well done to Cooper and Nyah, who were selected to carry our wreath. ANZAC Day is a very special time for their families as they have great grandparents that served our country. Cooper wore the medals his great great grandfather received for his service in his honour today. Well done also to our Captains, Lucy, Ember, and Oscar, who spoke beautifully today.
Thank you to everyone who came along to our moving ceremony. Lest we forget.
Are you looking for a way to memorise your 6 times tables and also get a catchy song stuck in your head? Well, 6B have the answer for you! Presenting the newest rap group on the block with a cover of animated turtle’s ‘Counting by Sixes’ that they debuted at yesterday’s 3-6 assembly.
The crowd was silent. Jude stepped up to the stage. He took a deep breath and struck his first chord. The audience sat with their mouths agape. Here they were, in the presence of a super star.

The SRC will be meeting with Miss Drew and myself this term to plan our first fundraising event for the year. Well done to all the students who nominated themselves for the SRC this year. Congratulations to Nyah and Hunter, who are 5B’s representatives for 2016. I am sure you will do our class and school proud!
